For Type1 diabetes and pregnancy it is important that you undergo A1C hemoglobin test to be sure about your blood sugar level. It is advisable to keep  A I C below 7 to 6 prior to pregnancy so that it reduces the risk of miscarriage and still birth.

You need to consult your dietician and Obstetrics. It is advisable to take prescribed amount of Folic acid, other multi vitamins tablets and insulin dosage. You need to follow the various exercises and diabetic diet during pregnancy so that there is no complication during child birth.

These are the above things which you need to remember regarding Type1 diabetes and pregnancy. You can still have healthy babies being Type 1 diabetic.
