Control Your Diabetes by Losing Weight in Midsection (the midriff region of the body)
Diabetes is a disorder in which the body stops registering or producing the insulin hormone which is responsible for the consumption of glucose by the body cells. Almost 95 percent diabetics suffer from type 2 diabetes which occurs when their body is ‘conditioned’ to stop registering the insulin or stops consuming glucose.
This conditioning occurs due to lack of exercise and improper eating habits. In fact, it is a known fact that midsection weight is one of the main attractors for diabetes.Therefore, it might not be wrong to state that losing weight in midsection can help control diabetes.
There are several ways and tips to go about it and some of them include:
- Cardiovascular exercise is very important to lose weight in midsection area. These exercises involve taking the heart rate to 70-80% of the maximum 4 times a week. This can be done by working out for 30 minutes in every session. It is one of the surest ways to burn calories and fat and control diabetes.
- Right eating is also important for reducing weight in the midsection. It can be started by cutting the unhealthy foods and swapping them with bagels, fits and nutrition bars. Also, one should change their eating plans from three big meals to five smaller ones. This keeps the digestive system and metabolism active which burns more calories. It also increases the energy levels.
- One of the most important steps to lose weight in midsection to help control diabetes is detoxifying. If the body is relieved of harmful toxic substances and impurities, then healthy functioning would be promoted. It can be done by body wraps and fiber supplements. The results of keeping the body cleansed and healthy are amazing to witness.
- Taking care (complete removal) of other toxicant inducing habits is also necessary. It means that smoking and alcohol should be completely removed from the diet schedule. In fact, it is seen that depressed either go for comfort food or smoking or a combination of these two. This results in midsection (and overall fats) which attract diabetes.
